Welcome to Sea Shell Studio

My name is Kristin Shell and I'm an Artist/Illustrator. This website shares some of the projects I've worked on for writers and organizations. I've created characters and story backgrounds. I use graphite, charcoal, color pencil, pastels, and watercolors. I'm currently working on some stories that use some digital painting as well using my iPad SketchPro Apps. Lots of fun.

I'm also a mother of four boys. So, my days are filled with their boyhood humor and laughter. While I raise my kids I work on illustrations for stories, personal portraits and music. I write and play acoustic guitar. I'm dedicated to creating an environment that encourages creativity, imagination, humor and adventure.

I am glad to share these stories with you.
